Second NH Parent Charged in Child Endangerment Case
Samantha Grenier, the mother of two children reportedly found in a "deplorable" apartment, has been arrested and charged.

MANCHESTER, NH — The mother of two children who were reportedly found covered in feces in a Queen City apartment last week has also been charged in the case, according to police. Samantha Grenier, 27, of Manchester, was arrested on Nov. 23, 2016, on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to police, officers were sent to an apartment on Quirin Street on Nov. 21, and a 4-year-old boy was allegedly “harnessed” to his bed and covered in feces and urine; a 2-year-old girl “was unclothed and also covered in feces inside of her crib.” They arrested the children’s father – James Grenier – that morning.

The next day, two detectives reportedly interviewed Samantha Grenier and after obtaining probable cause, filed an arrest warrant against her. Samantha Grenier was arrested the next day and held on $20,000 cash bail. She was arraigned on Friday.
