Senator Shaheen to Hold Town Hall in Plymouth NH

This might be the first public town hall she's held in almost 10 years

Senator Shaheen is finally holding a public town hall at Plymouth State University on August 8, 2018 at 6:00 PM. You will need to RSVP@shaheen.senate.gov (see graphic)

Other than a few inaccessible phone-ins, we believe this to be the first one she's had in ten years.

At least she will not be able to accuse you of not being a constituent.

You may recall back in 2009, in protest of the fact she refused to hold town halls on Obamacare, 80 of us showed up at her office hours in Hampstead.

In a very dishonest press release, Shaheen accused us of being there on behalf of “Washington insiders, insurance companies, and well-financed special interests.” In truth, we were her constituents from NH, every last one of us. No one paid us and we had no connection whatsover to “Washington insiders, insurance companies, or well-financed special interests.”

That day, Shaheen's aides had two people who came for normal office hours. No one impeded their access, as she accused.

Her only supporters were three SEIU workers from Massachusetts that stood outside, one was an illegal alien.

We warned Obamacare would cause us to lose our doctors, our 95% plans, and cause health insurance premiums to skyrocket. All that happened as predicted while insurance companies enjoy guaranteed increased profits, the result of the public being “Grubered” over Obamacare.

In fact, it was insurance companies who helped write the bill, you know, the one that we had to 'pass so we could see what was in it'? Special interests indeed.

It is hoped some of you will attend and remind Senator Shaheen of the mess she has helped create.
