Sexual Assault, Child Endangerment, Solicitation Case Lands Two with Charges
David Cazares of Goffstown faces child rape, other charges; his girlfriend, Cristal Ball, was also arrested on endangerment allegations.
GOFFSTOWN, NH — A multi-agency investigation into child sexual assault allegations has led to the arrest of a couple from Goffstown yesterday, according to police. David A. Cazares, 45, of Snow Road in Goffstown, was arrested on Aug. 3, 2016, and charged with on felony charges of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, aggravated felonious sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of indecent exposure, two counts of criminal solicitation, and two counts of sexual assault. Cristal L. Ball, 46, also of Snow Road in Goffstown, was also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to Det. Jason Ouellette of the Goffstown Police Department, police and the New Hampshire Internet Crime Against Children Task Force began looking into allegations about the couple and then issued search warrants of their home yesterday. After a search of the home, charges were issued against Cazares and Ball. He was arrested at home and held on $25,000 cash bail and is due to be arraigned today. Ball, Cazares’ live-in girlfriend, was also arrested on misdemeanor charges and held on $1,000 cash bail.

Ouellette noted that a number of departments assisted with the investigation, search, and apprehension of the couple. They include Goffstown, Dunbarton, Portsmouth, Bedford, Nashua, Concord, Salem, Hudson, and Mont Vernon Police Departments. The Department of Homeland Security Investigations Division, NHSP Troop B, and NHSP Major Crimes also assisted in the search warrant and apprehension of both Cazares and Ball.
