I‘ve known Shawn for several years through St Matthew’s Episcopal Church where we are both parishioners and leaders. I am Senior Warden of the Vestry and Shawn is Treasurer. I have found Shawn to be reliable, responsible, and an overall good guy. He’s well versed in the political issues that are important to me: health care, education, and women’s rights.
I am not pleased with Guinta’s total opposition to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This law helped many people who’d otherwise have no health insurance. My family has insurance, but were we to lose it, one of us would be uninsurable due to a serious chronic health condition. Congress must work together to fix sections of the law that need it. Shawn has what it takes to unlock Washington gridlock due to his ability to work with diverse groups in the business world.
