GOFFSTOWN, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has released the name of a man apparently shot in the parking lot of a local hardware store in Goffstown yesterday afternoon. Police were sent to the area of 5 Depot St. for a report of a suspicious death in the parking lot.
At least two other people were reportedly injured during the incident, according to various press reports. Police shut down parts of the community last night attempting to find the shooter.
“An autopsy is scheduled for later today to determine Mr. Jewell’s cause and manner of death,” noted Jeffery A. Strelzin, a senior assistant attorney general, chief of the homicide unit. “The investigation is ongoing.”
