Should Columbus Day be Changed?
Some suggest Indigenous People's Day might be more appropriate. What do you think?

For the last 20 years or so, Native Americans and others have tried to make the case that Columbus Day should be changed to some sort of other holiday celebrating the lives of the natives who were in North and South America before the explorers from Europe arrived more than 500 years ago.
Of late, a movement has arisen to change the holiday to Indigenous People’s Day. During the last few years, a number of cities around the country have replaced the holiday with the new name. Some conservatives have countered saying the new name is actually offensive to those who consider themselves to be indigenous.
What do you think? Is it time to revamp or change Columbus Day into something else? Vote in our online poll and leave a note in the comment section. Patch will share the results later this week.
