SolarUP Info Session at the Bedford Library 8/20

SolarUP Info Session at the Bedford Library 8/20 from 6:30-8pm

The SolarUP NH Bedford-Goffstown program will have an informational session at the Bedford public library in the McAllaster Room from 6:30-8pm this Thursday 8/20. This effort is geared toward raising awareness of the cost and other benefits of local solar energy production at your home or business, and promoting a lower cost option for the community to help grow adoption. The program kicked off in June and will run only through the end of September. It is based on the concept of bringing in one well vetted vendor willing to provide the community with price discounts based on total volume of installations, lowering cost for all. The cost point for solar is much better than in the past, and with the further discounts this program can achieve it is a unique opportunity to buy into the cost savings before Federal and State tax credits and rebates expire. It is being driven by local community members volunteering their time to help improve the town energy profile and advance the cause of sustainable, cost effective energy production. It’s a good time to go solar!

Community volunteers and NuWatt Energy will be presenting and ready to answer any questions you may have.
