MANCHESTER, NH — Another month, another hookah lounge is closed in New Hampshire’s largest city, due to alleged riotous activities that harmed the Manchester’s quality of life, according to a post on Manchester Ink Link. Police in the Queen City petitioned to have Fire & Ice Hookah Lounge, a popular hotspot on Elm Street, closed due to serving issues and “insufficient lighting” violations in 2016.

Back in March, three Bay State residents and a Nashua teen were arrested after a spat between two women flowed out from the bar into the street which led to two police officers being assaulted. Other incidents have also been reported at the establishment during the past two years.

This is the second hookah bar to be shut down in as many months. The Sixide Vape Lounge was closed in April after numerous brawls, gunfire, alleged gang activity, and other incidents, according to police.
