State To Update Bedford Residents About PFOA Investigation
NHDES along with the DHHS, town officials will meet on Jan. 11, to share updates to the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics investigation.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) and the Department of Health & Human Services, Division of Public Health Services, in coordination with the Town of Bedford, will host a public information meeting on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, to provide an update on the on-going investigation of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) releases from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Inc., according to a press statement. The primary agenda items will include a discussion on blood testing, including results of the MVD Community Exposure Assessment, an update on the public water project design and the short and long-term investigation.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at the Riddle Brook Elementary School, 230 New Boston Road in Bedford.
