Suspect Flashes Pistol During Armed Robbery: Alert

Police are asking for tips after a store was robbed tonight.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking for the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect tonight. At just before 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2017, police were sent to Uncle Bob’s Market on Kelley Street in Manchester for a report of a robbery.

“The investigation revealed that an unknown masked suspect entered the store armed with a silver pistol and demanded cash,” according to Lt. Joseph Mucci of the Manchester Police Department. “The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and cigarettes before fleeing the scene westerly on Kelley Street.”

A K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect but the search was terminated later.

The suspect was described at male, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and was armed with a silver pistol.”
