Romney Opens NH Campaign HQ in Bedford [VIDEO]
Mitt Romney's son, Tagg, rallies Granite State Republicans behind father.
Tagg Romney said he's attended the opening to three of his father's campaign offices in New Hampshire since 2008.
This one, he said, is the most important.
"You know, New Hampshire has four electoral votes, and most people may say, 'so why does it matter, it's just four votes, you need 270,'" said Romney. "But if you look at the Barack Obama campaign's roads to the White House, they have a couple hundred different scenarios where they say they can get to 270 electoral votes, and not a single one they put up doesn't include New Hampshire."

So it came as little surprise when dozens of Mitt Romney supporters – including both Republican gubernatorial candidates, Ovide Lamontagne and Kevin Smith – crammed inside the tight space at 273 South River Road in Bedford to officially begin General Election campaign efforts for the GOP's choice candidate for president.
“Today’s opening of the Romney headquarters in Bedford put on display the amount of enthusiasm that exists among New Hampshire Republicans," said NH GOP Chairman Wayne MacDonald. "In rallying around our nominee, we will continue to hold Barack Obama accountable for his failed policies that have taken our nation in the wrong direction when it comes to spending, taxes and the role of government. Today our volunteers continued to organize and fight to make Obama a one-term president by making phone calls, knocking on doors and working hard to deliver the GOP message of job creation, limited government and fiscal discipline.”

Among the dozens of those in attendance, U.S. Rep. Charlie Bass (the Republican incumbent in the 2nd District), NH Executive Councilor Ray Wieczorek and Romney's Granite State campaign manager Jim Merrill all echoed the same rally cry.
"We're all together as one family now. So whether you've been with governor Romney for six years, six months or six weeks, we stand as one family united with one purpose: deliver the White House for Mitt Romney in November," said Merrill.
"We are all Republicans working for a common cause, for liberty, for freedom for entrepreneurship, for prosperity and a strong national security, and we're not going to get there if we don't change things in Washington," said Bass.
To get there, Wieczorek said Romney and his supporters are in for a dogfight.
"We're going to be fighting Chicago-style politics here," he said. "But they;re not going to be able to do it all over the country because I have more confidence in the American people than that ... we're going to have to work like heck to make sure the message is out."
