An officer spoke with Leard about reports of assaults in the area while another officer spoke with two victims – boys, aged 12 and 15, according to the report.

“(The) 15-year-old male was stuck with a pipe and knocked off of his bicycle according to him and several witnesses,” O’Keefe alleged. “The blow to his arm shattered his watch and caused minor injury. His mother responded to the area but declined medical attention for her son.”

The 12-year-old alleged that he was “punched several times by Leard” and received minor injuries during the attack, O’Keefe noted. His mother was also called and she refused medical attention for the child.

“Multiple witnesses corroborated the series of events,” O’Keefe stated, so Leard was arrested and held without bail. He’s due to be arraigned later today.
