Then allegedly engaged in an argument with the victim – a 23-year-old man – about money as she was reportedly washing dishes in what police describe was a galley style kitchen.

“She retrieved a large kitchen knife and slashed him in the upper arm, causing a laceration,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “He attempted to walk past her to avoid additional injuries. However, he was stabbed a second time as he ran past her in the narrow area. The second stabbing stuck him in his lower back.”

Manchester Fire and Rescue teams were called in to treat the victim at the scene but he refused transportation and remained at the home after Then was arrested, according to O’Keefe.

Then was arraigned in Manchester District Court on the charges this morning.
