Teens in Court to Face Rioting, Assault Charges

Jackson Crawford and Aaron Sisto were arrested earlier this month after alleged incident on Lake Avenue in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH - Two local teens were arrested last week on numerous charges after police fingered them for a previous incident on Lake Avenue earlier this month.

Jackson Crawford, 19, pictured left, was arrested on Feb. 3, 2016, and charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, riot, and armed robbery. Also arrested was Aaron Sisto, 18, of Lake Avenue in Manchester, who was arrested in Massachusetts on Feb. 9, 2016, and charged with second-degree assault, riot, and armed robbery.

According to police, on Feb. 2, 2016, officers were sent to a report of a stabbing inside a Lake Avenue apartment.

A male victim alleged that while visiting the apartment, a group of men attacked him.

“The men forcefully removed the victim’s personal belongings during the assault,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “The man sustained non-life threatening injuries, including several wounds and was transported to the Elliot Hospital.”

During the course of the investigation, police developed two suspects – Crawford and Sisto – and began to issue warrants against them. Crawford was arrested the next day and had a probable cause hearing on Feb. 18.
