Thies Appointed to the HNH Foundation Board of Directors

Bedford health care consultant has both academic and clinical experience.

The HNH Foundation, New Hampshire’s children’s health funder, has announced that Kathleen Mongan Thies, PhD, RN of Bedford has joined the Board of Directors, according to a press statement. 

According to HNH Foundation Board Chair Martha McLeod, “Dr. Thies’ broad experience as a nursing educator, clinical researcher and health care consultant will be a great asset to our Board. Her expertise and perspective will help maximize the impact of the Foundation’s grantmaking to support positive outcomes in children’s health across the state.”

Dr. Thies is a health care consultant with both academic and clinical experience. A nursing educator, clinical researcher and author of three text books on human growth and development, she applies systems thinking to quality improvement initiatives and project evaluation. Dr. Thies is a fourth generation native of New Hampshire.
