We are now accepting applications for our 2025 Citizen Police Academy. The Citizen Police Academy provides participants with an in-depth and multifaceted look at the diverse duties that officers carry out on a daily basis. Weekly classes will be held each Thursday beginning on April 10th and concluding on May 29th. The Citizen Police Academy is open to all those who live and/or work in Bedford. Applicants must: - Be 18 or older- Consent to a background check- Have no criminal convictions (Misdemeanor or felony)- Not be the defendant in any active Restraining or Stalking Order- Not knowingly be under investigation for a crimeThe last day to apply, is 2/28/25 by 4:00pm.
