Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust on Everett Turnpike

NHSP arrest three, including two New Yorkers, near the Bedford tolls for allegedly having "a large amount" of cocaine, heroin, crystal meth.

BEDFORD, NH — A lane control violation on the Everett Turnpike on Saturday night led New Hampshire State Police to arrest three people near the Bedford tolls, according to a press statement. Arturo Vargas, 39, of New York, NY; Samuel Lebron, 38, of Laconia; and K.M. Andrickson, of New York, NY, were all arrested on Feb. 4, 2017, on transporting/possession of narcotics with intent to distribute charges.

At just before 11:45 p.m. on Saturday night, a state trooper reportedly pulled over a Ford Expedition with New Hampshire plates for a lane control violation on the northbound side of the Everett Turnpike near the Bedford tollbooth, according to a press statement.

During the course of the traffic stop and investigation, the trooper allegedly “discovered a large amount of narcotics within the vehicle” specifically, “approximately 12 ounces of cocaine, 2 ounces of heroin, and 4 ounces of crystal meth,” according to Lt. N.A. Noyes of the NHSP.

All three occupants were subsequently arrested and charged, and the vehicle was seized pending a further investigation, he noted. They were held on $100,000 cash bail and are expected to be arraigned in Merrimack District Court today.
