Two Cars Wedge Into Bedford Toll Booth At Same Time

BEDFORD, NH - Two vehicles wedged into a southbound Everett Turnpike toll booth early Tuesday afternoon at the same time, leaving both stuck between a post and each other.

It is unclear from the Department of Transportation’s Facebook page whether the cars were engaged in a game of chicken on May 31, 2016, to be the first to pass through or simply thought the lane could support both of them.

The department does, however, stress that only one car should go through the tolls at a time. Nobody was injured and the lane was cleared and reopened in about an hour.

Though neither driver was hurt, it will more than likely serve to remind them of the age-old lesson of patiently waiting your turn.
