VIDEO: Pet Supplies Plus Opens in Bedford

A new neighborhood pet store says it's marking its territory in greater Bedford.

Pet Supplies Plus opened its doors at 87 South River Road in Bedford on March 17 and has a grand opening March 31 and April 1.

Store Manager Lindsey Ambrister tells Patch the store offers a wide variety of pet toys, equipment, foods (natural, organic, and more), and services. As she speaks in this video, a dog getting groomed in the background gets curious.

The 7,900 square-foot store will also feature some pet adoptions.

Dave Bolen, CEO of Pet Supplies Plus, says the store looks forward to becoming a part of the community. In an announcing the new store, Bolen said, "We understand the special bond between owners and their pets, and at the end of the day, we believe that pets own peope – not the other way around."
