Voters In Bedford Go To The Polls On March 13

The town election will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The budgetary town meeting will be held on Wednesday night.

BEDFORD, NH — Get ready to vote, Bedford. The annual town election will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bedford High School gym on 47 Nashua Road on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. This year, there are two competitive races on the town ballot.

Six candidates are seeking three, three-year town council seats: Incumbents Bill Dushatko and Melissa Stevens are being challenged by Julio Nunez, Emma Paradis, Matt Sullivan, and Phil Greazzo. Two candidates are also running for a single library trustee seat: Robert Brooks and Walter Gallo.

For the SAU 25 school board, incumbent Cindy Chagnon is running for one of two three-year seats along with challengers Spencer Dias, Sarah Lang, and Jay Nash.

Voters will also be asked to approve a $74 million school budget. If rejected, a default budget of $72 million will be approved.

On Wednesday night, at 7 p.m., in the Bedford High School theatre, the budgetary town meeting will be held.
