Watch: Video Camera Spots Baby Bear In Bedford

BEDFORD, NH — A surveillance video shows a baby bear roaming through the driveway and yard of a home in Bedford. The video was taken on Jan. 4. Bear sightings in town are not a rare occurrence — ask the Bedford police, who caught one on camera in the department's parking lot 18 months ago.

The neighbor wonders out loud if the bear was hungry and probably, it was. It is illegal in the state of New Hampshire to intentionally feed bears. And, if you make sure your trash lids are securely tightened or in a protected area, you won't have to worry about the bears getting into them either.
