Water Main Break In NH Almost Swallows Up Sedan

Langdon Street in Manchester will be closed for most of the day for repairs.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Queen City resident woke up to a frightening sight this morning – his car, almost swallowed up by a sinkhole, on Langdon Street. The sinkhole, according to the Manchester Information Facebook site on Nov. 29, 2017, was caused by a water main break. The vehicle was picked up and removed from the hole earlier this morning.

The street will be closed for repairs for most of the day. No one was injured, according to the report.
