After nearly two months of polls and tens of thousands of votes, a winner has finally been crowned in Bedford Patch's inaugural

began its championship run by surging past Bedford Martial Arts Academy to reach the second round with an impressive 2,234 votes.

Once there, ATA continued to impress, handily winning the quarterfinals and taking a convincing victory in the semifinals against .

Of course, ATA's biggest challenge came in the tournament finale, when it squared off against Bedford's hottest new business,, which pulled out a thrilling come-from-behind triumph in the first poll of the first round, overtaking Frederick's Pastries in a back-and-forth battle that wasn't decided until the final hour.

Yet in the end, – taking nearly 70 percent of the 5005 votes that were cast – to win the Bedford Small Business title.
