Will the Rain Be Kept at Bay this Weekend?

Plus, will the harvest moon eclipse be visible on Sunday night in New Hampshire? The latest Granite State weather forecast is right here.

The nice fall weather is expected to continue into the weekend despite a major storm off the Atlantic, according to weather forecasters.

AccuWeather.com said that the average temperatures are slightly higher than normal and are expected to be that way into next week. Do expect, however, foggy, frosty mornings.

For the first time in nearly three decades, a lunar eclipse will coincide with a supermoon, beginning around 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27. The moon is expected to appear about 14 percent larger than normal, according to AccuWeather.com. The eclipse will last a little more than 70 minutes.

Hopefully, the scattered clouds that are expected to head into the region will not muck up the viewing opportunity. Visibility is expected to be fair for most of New Hampshire with “good” visibility in the northern part of the Granite State.
