Wine Tasting After Class at Zin~Zen Yoga
Bedford yoga studio offers yogis time to be social.

BEDFORD, NH — Michelle Fabbrini, owner and instructor at Zin~Zen Yoga in Bedford, ends her Thursday evening yoga class with a wine tasting. After the 75-minute class, students gather in the boutique to sample the two wines that Fabbrini researched and carefully selected.
“Normally you don’t talk to each other. You buzz in and buzz out,” Gail Weeks, a student at the studio, said. “This is time to talk to each other.”
During her 20s and early 30s, Fabbrini lived in California, where her appreciation for wine grew, she said. She opened Zin~Zen Yoga two years ago and merged her passion for yoga with her wine interest.

“Yoga is individual- your mat, you go inward,” Fabbrini said. With the wine tasting, “everyone gets to know each other.”
Fabbrini said it might also help newer students explore yoga.

“Yoga can be intimidating for people to start,” she said. “For those that might be intimated, they may be more apt to try out this class.”
Lauren Oakes, who is from Derry, attended the class on Sept. 8, 2016. For her, the wine tasting is motivation. “It’s an extra incentive. It get’s you out the door.”
Zin~Zen Yoga is located on South River Road in the Woodbury Court plaza, across from Whole Foods.
