Response to One Chronic Malcontent's Rantings and Picks for September 9th Primary

If anyone is to take seriously the voting “recommendations” of a certain Bedford “Democrat-posing-as-a-Republican”, they first should check to see if what he’s selling is even true.
We checked. It took only a few minutes of research to discover that most of what he claims is merely just another exercise in “made up stuff” and childish name calling about those he thinks might interfere with his agenda. We think we know exactly what Chronic Malcontent’s agenda is, but will leave you to your own conclusions after reading this.
This latest litany of fabrications and insinuations has once again proven that it’s more about personal vendettas than anything else.

Ask yourself this; why does someone who throws money at the Democratic Party, who has financially supported Jeanne Shaheen, who has supported trial lawyer and Democrat Lee Nyquist, and who now supports liberal academic Dan Innis, think he is qualified to make judgements on the purity of REPUBLICAN candidates?
Anyone who has ever paid the slightest bit of attention to our Chronic Malcontent’s machinations know that these latest voting recommendations are inconsistent with his own schizophrenic political choices. You will find that the allegations of an anti-Republican “agenda” he’s made against those he “warns” you about are merely inventions of his own grandiose imagination.

So let’s learn what’s true, and what’s not.
Back in March, our Chronic Malcontent accused Aaron Day and Matt Philips of presenting themselves as “fiscal conservatives” and whose “real goal was to do away with services such as public education, not repair roads, and simply put Bedford and New Hampshire on a path towards anarchy.”
This is an interesting contradiction, and a testament to the confusion often suffered in Chronic Malcontent’s mind. Fiscal conservatives usually DO strive for smaller government. But the writer is still spreading the falsehood that Philips was against the road bond when he was not, and that Day wanted to do away with public schools (as if any one person could do either of this on his own). And he still doesn’t grasp the definition of an anarchist, which generally refers to a person who is an agnostic with regard to government, even refusing to participate in elections, let alone run as a candidate in one. The word “anarchist” describes neither Day nor Philips who are both successful business people, who each own their own homes, and are active and productive members of their community.
Further, Chronic Malcontent makes the wild accusation that Day is a “trust funder” when there is no trust fund, and in reality, Day has actually worked for a living since he was 19, creating and running multiple businesses.
Our Chronic Malcontent is now lobbing unspecified attacks against Mrs. Ann Marie Banfield, a person with more brains and class in her little finger than most with childish name calling and no specifics. As I understand (I’m not a member) the decisions made by the Bedford Taxpayers Association are made by a board, not just one person. Apparently having been unsuccessful at controlling the BTA Board, Chronic Malcontent is using Banfield as his whipping post. Common sense will tell you that while the BTA may have advised against the road bond, it doesn’t mean everyone else they endorsed did the same.
With absolutely NO proof of his claims, our Chronic Malcontent goes on to “warn” us that Kristin Noble, Emily O’Neill, and Linda Gould are somehow “aligned” with Aaron Day, a person with whom he seems unnaturally obsessed. By the way, just as I did in 1989 and many others did before and after that date, Day moved here in 2009 for the love of NH. Chronic Malcontent’s obsession with Day, his name-calling and concocted stories about trust funds and ordinance violations, are unnatural and inexplicable and do nothing to help attract new or young people to the Republican Party.
You may recall during the March election, our Chronic Malcontent had hoped to collude with town officials to drum up some sort of false claim about ordinance violations against Aaron Day and Matt Philips. This is how Chronic Malcontent rolls — constantly snooping into people’s personal lives in the hopes of digging up “dirt” he can use against them.
Out of the blue, Noble, O’Neill, and Gould are now being attacked. These ladies were all born and raised in NH which is more than we can say about the Chronic Malcontent who is a NEW YORK IMPORT. Gould has never even met Day or Philips.
FACT: Kristin Noble is a NH native, raised in Manchester. She is a young mother who is pro-life, and a constitutional Republican who supports the platform. She is married and has children in the Bedford schools. She is endorsed by the most respected former State Rep. Moe Villeneuve, who himself scored 100% for upholding the platform.

FACT: Emily O’Neill is a young woman who is a distinguished military graduate from Army ROTC at UNH and currently serves as a 1st Lieutenant in the NH Army National Guard. Emily is also a NH native, raised in New Boston, and a pro-life, constitutional Republican, and business person.

FACT: Linda Gould was born and raised in New Hampshire as well, and has been a Bedford resident for 40 years. She is also endorsed by Moe Villeneuve and is a strong Republican.

Chronic Malcontent makes recommendations of people he claims have “no agenda”. Some have profiles exactly like Day and Philips, and with similar backgrounds in that they are also transplants and a successful business owners. What could be the reason for his support of candidates with identical leanings to those with whom he is obsessed and intent on smearing?
What is the real reason for his relentless attacks on Day and Philips, and now others? Could it be that he fears they may interfere with his personal agenda?
As for two incumbents Graham and Danielson, I leave it to the reader to check their voting records (60%-75% range). In addition, Mr. Danielson, endorsed by SEIU, put his name to the specious mailing sent around in March by our Chronic Malcontent, a screed which made vague insinuations about the character of others. This was seen as quite out of character for the usually genteel former town councilor. There was no explanation for his sudden “possession”.
Finally we have Chronic Malcontent’s recommendation of Terry Wolf whose name was the inspiration for the title of this piece. When questioned recently, Wolf admitted she didn’t support a certain percentage of the NH Republican platform but refused to say just what. Judging from how Wolf, as Chair of our School Board, has allowed our high school to be dominated by far-left UN programs and worse, that percentage has to be slightly more than ZERO. Do you as a Republican really want that same far-left agenda to be carried over to the NH statehouse?
So there you have it. The fact that our Chronic Malcontent, who is a frequent donor to Democrat candidates and causes, and a supporter of Jeanne Shaheen, was campaign chair for trial lawyer and Democrat Lee Nyquist, and is a current supporter of liberal academic Dan Innis, and of controversial School Board Chair Terry Wolf, should claim that anyone else lacks Republican values, or has some other sinister “agenda”, is ludicrous.
You can find the list of all candidates Bedford will be asked to vote for here, along with links to websites for those who have them.
As for delegates, I have no recommendations but I found it amusing that our Chronic Malcontent has recommended some who actually are not happy about being ”endorsed” by this person.
Even gobs of money cannot make our Chronic Malcontent happy. He seems to have bought up much of Bedford, making him part of the 1%. But his elevated financial status does not seem to relieve him of his penchant of trying to control town officials; in particular, the school board, town council, planning board, moderators, along with taxpayer groups, or even party committees and their candidates on BOTH sides. And when he can’t... beware.
Chronic Malcontent’s candidates may not have an agenda, but it’s easy to conclude that HE does.
Candidates, you have the right to place signs wherever anyone else places them that is legal per the town. Do not allow anyone to intimidate you. Property owners should not be intimidated into not placing signs in front of businesses and homes. And if this has happened to you, simply report your harassers to the police.
