Woman Applies For Jail Job, Gets Arrested On Warrant

Kristina Hoefs of Manchester was arrested last week after corrections officials found she had an active warrant for theft in Maine.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local woman was arrested on a theft warrant after reportedly attempting to get a job at a local jail, according to police. Kristina Hoefs, 31, of Manchester, was arrested on April 6, 2018, on a theft charge. Hoefs, according to police, walked into Hillsborough County Corrections on Friday and applied for a job.

“The workers quickly realized she was wanted on a theft related offense from the state of Maine, so she was placed into custody,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
