Woman Dies In I-293 Crash
NHSP: A Manchester woman, reportedly while speeding, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of her vehicle last night.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester woman lost her life after a crash in I-293 last night, according to New Hampshire State Police. Amanda Primeau, 31, lost control of her 2008 Nissan Versa and smashed into a tree, according to Lt. N.A. Noyes of Troop B in Bedford. State troopers and EMTs were sent to the area of Exit 7 for the crash report at just before midnight on Aug. 14, 2017.
“It had been reported that a vehicle had lost control and crashed into the woods,” Noyes noted. “(First responders) located the vehicle standing vertical on its front end leaning against a tree." Primeau was extricated from the vehicle and treated at the scene by Manchester Fire and Rescue teams. She was taken to Elliot Hospital but succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, according to a press report.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle failed to negotiate the curve of the roadway and control was lost,” Noyes said. “Speed appears to be a factor, however all aspects of the incident remain under investigation. The right lane of I-293 was closed for approximately three hours while troopers worked on the scene.”
