Woman Steals Car, Crashes In A Rollover, And Passes Away: Report
Police: Shanna Martin perished in a crash early this morning on Lake Avenue in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — A New Hampshire woman passed away due to injuries in a crash after she reportedly stole a Jeep in Manchester, according to police. Police in Manchester were sent to a report of a crash at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Hall Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 20, 2018. When they arrived, they found a 1999 Jeep that had rolled over.

“The inverted vehicle landed west of the address after striking and damaging the building’s fire panel,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “The Manchester Fire Department extracted the unresponsive women from the wreck before AMR Ambulance transported her to the Elliot Hospital.”

The driver, Shanna Martin, 30, of Manchester, was later pronounced dead at Elliot Hospital.
About 20 minutes before the crash, an officer was sent to Dubuque Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. After clearing that scene, the officer went to the crash scene and confirmed that the vehicle was the same vehicle stolen from Dubuque Street, according to O’Keefe.
