Woman With Toddler In SUV Busted For Drugs: Report

Tara Hoisington was arrested last week for child endangerment after allegedly passing out in a vehicle with heroin, Manchester Police say.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local woman is facing charges in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North later this month after being arrested last week on drug and endangerment charges, according to police. Tara Hoisington, 30, of Manchester, was arrested on March 2, 2018, for felony possession of a controlled drug-heroin and endangering the welfare of a child. According to a police post on Facebook, on Friday afternoon, an officer was sent to Pine Street in Manchester for a report of a woman passed out inside an SUV.

EMTs were also called to the scene and reported that the woman appeared sleepy and had difficulty speaking, the officer stated in a report. The officer also allegedly saw a small bag of heroin on the passenger seat of the vehicle and a second bag of heroin on the driver’s seat as Hoisington reportedly exited the Chevrolet Trailblazer, police alleged.

An 10-month-old child was also found inside the vehicle in a car seat. The car was not running, according to police.

Hoisington was arrested and charged. A family member came to the scene to pick up the child. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on March 15.
