At around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 19, 2016, police were sent to the apartment for a report of a fight. When they arrived, they reportedly made contact with Grikscheit – who allegedly refused to comply with their instructions, according to Sgt. Michael Biron of the Manchester Police Department.

“A struggle ensued with the officers and Grikscheit was arrested,” Biron alleged. “Emerson, who was also inside the apartment, engaged the officers within the hallway, yelling and screaming profanity, which could be heard by other residents of the apartment building. Emerson tried to interfere with the officers, while they struggled to arrest Grikscheit.”

Emerson allegedly began to fight with officers and resisted and at one point, she reportedly slipped out of the handcuffs and tried to push away, according to police.
