Concord Man Heading to Court Over Sexting Incident

Portsmouth Circuit Court judge finds probable cause.

A Concord man who Portsmouth Police say sent explicit sexual messages to a 15-year-old Portsmouth girl is headed for trial after a Portsmouth Circuit Court judge found probable cause on on Jan. 30.

WMUR reported on Feb. 1, that the court determined that Portsmouth Police had presented sufficient evidence to support the four felony charges against Brad Lizotte, 46, of Rumford Street.

According to the Portsmouth Police log, Lizotte was arrested on Jan. 23, and charged with one count of obscene matter/materials, one count of prohibited certain uses of computer services and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Lizotte was also arrested on Loudon Road in Concord on Oct. 17, 2011, and charged with criminal mischief (vandalism) and second-degree assault (personal weapons), a felony. 

In July 2008, Lizotte was arrested and charged with being a habitual offender and contempt of bail after reportedly being stopped on I-93 near Exit 13. 

In September 2007, Lizotte's license was reportedly revoked after a driving while intoxicated incident, according to the Concord Monitor.
