CONCORD, NH — Downtown Concord's Rooftop Social will open for the season Friday, marking the return of rooftop dining and drinks to the city center.
The venue will offer updated cocktails, a new food menu, and a schedule of live music events for the summer.
Opening week is aimed at after-work visitors, weekend groups, and anyone looking to start the night downtown. The venue described the start of the season as a chance for guests to gather with friends, take in the rooftop setting, and settle in for what it called the first weekend's energy.
The new cocktail menu features a range of styles, including light and floral drinks, smoky and spicy options, tropical pours, and dessert-inspired martinis, according to the announcement. The venue said the drinks were created to bring "playful personality, fresh flavor, and rooftop attitude to every glass," designed to offer cocktails people can "sip, share, and talk about."
Rooftop Social's new menu was built around shared dining, with fresh bites, flatbreads, seafood, and other shareable plates. The venue said the food lineup is meant for tables ordering several dishes and lingering longer over drinks.
Summer programming will extend beyond the rooftop into Arts Alley. Industry Night at Rooftop Social will be held every Tuesday starting June 9. The Sam Adams Summer Concert Series will take place every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in the courtyard starting July 8.
The venue described the music schedule as part of a broader push to keep people downtown longer through rooftop gatherings, courtyard concerts, and seasonal food and drink offerings.
Doors open Friday at 4 p.m.
