FRANKLIN, NH — Franklin Savings Bank has given CASA of New Hampshire a $1,000 donation to support CASA’s work assisting children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

“Supporting CASA aligns with our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve,” Jenn Prince, the marketing and community engagement officer for Franklin Savings Bank, said. “Their volunteers make an extraordinary difference in the lives of children who need it most, and we are honored to contribute to their mission.”

The bank said CASA’s work helps promote safety, stability, and hope for children across New Hampshire. The donation will support the organization’s ongoing efforts and its volunteer-based advocacy program, according to the announcement.

“We are grateful for the partnership with Franklin Savings Bank, who has been supporting the mission of CASA for several years,” Tarah Bergeron, development associate, said. “Thanks to their continued involvement, CASA has been able to recruit and train volunteer CASA advocates to speak on behalf of victimized children throughout the state.”

The $1,000 gift adds to Franklin Savings Bank’s ongoing support of CASA, according to Bergeron.

Franklin Savings Bank was established in 1869 and describes itself as an independent, mutually-owned community bank. The bank offers commercial lending, personal banking, and investment services, and also provides investment and financial planning services through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Independence Financial Advisors, according to the announcement.
