NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH — Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves is bringing back two family-focused programs for its 2026 season in Kinsman Notch, with outdoor yoga sessions and live animal presentations planned through the summer and early fall.
Yoga in the Woods, hosted by Margarita Dufresne of Live a Little Fitness, will return on Sundays in July and August. The beginner-level classes are held outdoors amid the sounds of rushing water and birdsong, according to the announcement.
“I was so excited to be invited back to Lost River Gorge this summer,” she said. “Our yoga practice is peaceful, surrounded by the sounds of the river and birds chirping. It’s such a wonderful opportunity to step away from the noise of the world and experience the serenity of nature within Kinsman Notch.”
Lost River Gorge is also partnering with the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center for Live Animal Presentations with a naturalist on select days from July through late September. The programs begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Forest Treehouse and are included with admission, according to the announcement. Guests can meet native New Hampshire wildlife and learn about animals found in the region’s forests, wetlands, and fields.
“Families absolutely look forward to these events every year,” Ashley Leclerc, Operations Manager of Lost River Gorge, said. “From peaceful yoga sessions in the woods to exciting up-close animal encounters, these programs add so much energy and excitement to the guest experience and create lasting summer memories for visitors of all ages.”
Because capacity is limited throughout the day, advance reservations for general admission are encouraged, according to the announcement. Reservations for the Live Animal Presentations are also recommended, while reservations are required for Yoga in the Woods.
Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves is in North Woodstock and is owned by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and operated by White Mountains Attractions. The attraction is known for granite boulder caves, waterfalls, and boardwalks in the Western White Mountains.
