CONCORD, NH — Police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting in Downtown Concord early Sunday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., officers were sent to the area of Sexton Avenue and South Main Street for a report of a shooting. The caller told dispatch someone fired a gun at their home and a bullet went through the window. They then heard tires squealing as a vehicle fled the scene.

Statements were taken from residents of an apartment building on Sexton Avenue.
According to one witness, the vehicle fled the scene, driving the wrong way west on Perley Street at “a high rate of speed, possibly impaired,” an officer said. The driver was described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black hat. The vehicle was described as possibly a black Jeep.
A second officer said the driver’s side mirror of the vehicle might be “bent out of place.”
The suspect’s information was given to the New Hampshire State Police.
During a canvass, another witness, not far from the scene, reported hearing multiple gunshots, about four or five.
