NEWBURY, NH — The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen will bring its 93rd Annual Craftsmen's Fair to Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury from Aug. 1 through Aug. 9, with nearly 300 juried League craftsmen and guest artists expected to take part.
The fair will run daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
The 2026 fair will highlight a series of partnerships across New Hampshire's creative community, including a new collaboration with the New Hampshire Craft Brewers Association. The Spirit of the Maker Craft Beer Series will connect League craftsmen with independent craft brewers, and many participating breweries are expected at the fair for tastings of their specialty beers, according to the release.
"This Fair is more than an exhibition of exceptional craftsmanship," Kate Saunders, executive director of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, said. "It is a celebration of what happens when artists, educators, nonprofits, businesses, and communities come together around a shared commitment to making. Every collaboration represented here reflects an investment in New Hampshire's creative future."
The League said the fair will also reflect newer partnerships with the New Hampshire Art Association, Loon Chocolate and Mount Washington Cruise Lines. The Art Association partnership created a new Emerging Artist Award tied to the Association's Fledgling Exhibition, according to the release. Loon Chocolate developed the League's signature bean-to-bar chocolate and will return this year as a specialty food vendor.
Other programs highlighted in the announcement include expanded youth woodworking education through grant funding awarded to the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers, support for the New Hampshire Potters' Guild interactive Pottery Tent, and backing for Claremont Makerspace's Artist in Residence program. The League also said it will celebrate the centennial of Sandwich Home Industries during the fair's opening and donate a portion of proceeds from sales of the 2026 Annual Ornament to honor that legacy.
Visitors can expect fine craft displays across multiple mediums, live demonstrations, the Kids Create Tent presented in partnership with Kimball Jenkins School of Art, the Next Generation Tent, live music coordinated by the New Hampshire Music Collective, specialty food vendors and scenic chairlift rides at Mount Sunapee Resort, according to the release.
The League said ticket sales are its largest annual fundraiser and support its year-round mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Children 16 and under are admitted for free. Additional ticket and event information is available at nhcrafts.org.
