Concord Police Back At Homelessness Coalition Apartment Building, Executing A Search Warrant

CONCORD, NH — Concord police were at the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness apartments on South State Street on Monday afternoon.

Limited information is available about the incident, but according to scanner chatter, detectives were at the building around 5:30 p.m. to execute a search warrant. It is unknown what they were searching for. While inside searching the building, the city's K-9 officer offered to bring the dog to the apartment later, if needed.

Detectives and officers were at the building for about 90 minutes and cleared just before 7 p.m.

Since the apartments opened, police have been to the building several times. Officers are also regularly performing community policing in the neighborhood and at the building.

Back in mid-May, five people were arrested on various charges after a drug bust at the building.

Denise Davenport, 57, a former resident of the building, accused of possessing 100 grams of fentanyl, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine that she sold at the Friendly Kitchen, is due to be arraigned on charges in Merrimack County. Superior Court in October. Wilkie Reyes Reynoso, 27, of Nashua, who was charged with possession, will be in superior court in mid-September for arraignment and a status conference. Crystal Marquis, 45, of Concord, who was initially arrested for resisting but later charged with possession and falsifying physical evidence, has a dispositional conference in superior court scheduled for November.

Court information about two other people arrested during the bust was unavailable at the time of publication.
