CONCORD, NH — Families will get an early look at Anna's Taqueria's new kids' menu during sneak-preview events planned for Oct. 21.
The promotion is also scheduled for Anna's Taqueria locations in Concord, New Hampshire, and Cranston, Rhode Island.
Anna's Taqueria said the new menu is its first dedicated menu for children and is meant to reflect the brand's focus on quality, convenience and homemade food since 1995.
The chain's Dedham and Newton Highlands, Massachusetts, restaurants will also welcome families for a preview of the new offerings, along with activities for children, including a sticker table, coloring pages, and face painting. Families can also take home Anna's branded swag.
The event includes a meal deal for families. With the purchase of an adult entree, listed as a burrito, bowl, quesadilla, or salad, a child can receive a free kids meal of their choice, according to the restaurant. Anna's is also inviting feedback, with tasting notes from what it calls critics-in-training.
The kids menu includes three meal options, each priced at $7.75. Each meal comes with chips, a fruit cup, and a choice of apple juice or a small water. Anna's Taqueria said the meals are intended to give caregivers an easier meal option after busy days spent at fields, activity centers, and in classrooms.
The Kids Taco Meal includes two corn tortillas with a choice of protein or vegetable filling. The Kids Taquito Burrito Meal, described by the restaurant as a new addition to its offerings, includes a small taquito burrito with cheese and a choice of filling in a flour tortilla. The Kids Quesadilla Meal includes a choice of Anna's fillings with cheese in a grilled flour tortilla.
Families who want a different protein can also upgrade any kids meal to steak or birria for $1 more, according to the announcement.
