BOW, NH — A man found dead in brush along a power line corridor in Bow on Saturday morning has been identified as a man from Manchester missing since early October.
Justin Travis, 31, of Manchester, was found off South Bow Road in Bow, near the town's border with Dunbarton. A trooper hunting in the area found him, according to scanner chatter.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause and manner of his death, "pending further studies," according to the attorney general's office.
"Authorities are looking to speak to anyone with information about Mr. Travis's whereabouts and activities during the month of October 2026," Michael Garrity, the director of communications for the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, said.
According to a post on Facebook from a family member, Travis was reported last seen on Oct. 4.
"Unfortunately," a family member wrote on the New Hampshire Missing Facebook site, "the circumstances around his death are not good. Please respect our privacy at this time."
Anyone with that information is asked to contact investigators at 603-628-8477 or by email at mcu@dos.nh.gov.
