Dunbarton Congregational Church, UCC will host an art exhibit in the Vestry during October. “Crying in the Wilderness, An Immigrant’s Journey in Detention” is a powerful collection of photographs, artwork, and poetry that illustrates the emotional and physical toll of detaining and tracking an immigrant who requested asylum. New Hampshire photographer and author Becky Field photographed asylum seeker “Antony,” a pseudonym, for a year. Black and white 5 by 6-foot photographs on canvas chronicle his experience.
Open House at 6 Stark HWY North will be October 4th from 3:00-5:00 PM. Additional exhibit hours are October 11, 18, and 25 from 1:00-3:00 PM.
