Power Restored to 1,000+ on Seacoast
Thousands of Seacoast residents were without electricity for a couple of hours Thursday afternoon.
More than 1,000 utility customers in Rye, Hampton and North Hampton lost power Thursday afternoon due to some damaged Public Service of New Hampshire equipment.
As of 1:45 p.m., 1,263 Rye customers were without electricity, 123 in North Hampton, four in Hampton, three in Portsmouth, two in Newington and one in Stratham.
Power was fully restored at 3:38 p.m. after crews remedied the equipment issues, according to PSNH.
