5 Family Friendly Events This Weekend
A block party on Lincoln Street, Kingston Days, and two big music festivals.

- LINCOLN STREET FESTIVAL: The first annual will be held Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Lincoln Street in Exeter. There will be games, live music, foood and more.
- KINGSTON DAYS: Just one town over, this weekend-long event kicks off Friday night with the annual lobster feed at the Kingston firehouse, directly across from the plains. There's a 5K road race and a Children's Parade on Saturday, and much, much more.
- FOLK AND COUNTRY: Two music festivals are slated for this weekend as part of the Prescott Park Arts Festival. The 15th annual Folk Festival featuring the Carolina Chocolate Drops, among others, is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., and the WOKQ Country Festival with former "American Idol" star Ayla Brown is set for Saturday at 1 p.m.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALDO!: Water Street Bookstore will host Waldo's Birthday Party on Saturday at 11 a.m., wrapping up the month-long downtown "Where's Waldo?" event. There will be cupcakes, fun Waldo games and activities, plus the big Waldo prize drawing.
- GET YOUR FARMERS MARKET FIX. Can't wait until the next Exeter Farmers Market? All those vendors will be in Portsmouth on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the police station.
