5th Annual Exeter UFO Festival

The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is happy to announce that we are once again the principle sponsor of the “5th Annual Exeter UFO Festival”.  This family event will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 (Labor Day weekend).  As with the past four UFO festivals, our aim is to make the event something interesting, educational, and fun for everyone.  This event is based, in part, on what many refer to as “the incident at Exeter”; which occurred on Labor Day weekend in 1965.

The Exeter UFO Festival is a major fundraiser for the Exeter Area Kiwanis Club.  As with all of our fundraisers, 100% of the profits go to local children’s charities, children’s programs, and community programs.  All Kiwanians are volunteers.  This festival is one of the rare FREE events of its kind anywhere.  The Exeter Kiwanis Club simply relies on your generosity at the food and souvenir stands.

Once again Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is bringing together nationally and internationally renowned speakers on the subject of UFOs.  Speakers include; Stanton Friedman, Richard Dolan, Ryan Mullahy, Robert Schroeder, and Paul Eno.  The speakers will be presenting their talks in the historic Exeter Town Hall on Front Street in Exeter, New Hampshire.  Local writer Bob Inghram will speak about his humorous book When Alien Abductions Go Wrogn at the Water Street Book Store on Water Street.  Copies of authors’ books will also be available at the Town Hall.  There will be a children’s arts & crafts area at Founder’s Park, by the Exeter Public Library.  The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers, and unique Exeter UFO Festival T-shirts and posters.  Additional activities are being planned and will be posted on their website (exeterufofestival.com ) and Face Book page (exeterufofestival).
