1. Exeter Farmers’ Market

The seasonal Exeter Farmers’ Market is held every Thursday from May through October. Each market day features plenty of fresh produce, locally-made items and live music. 2. Live Performances at The Word Barn

One of Exeter’s best-known venues, The Word Barn hosts a variety of events year-round to celebrate the arts and foster community. From live music of all genres to crafting workshops with local artists, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

3. Music, Crafts and Cooking at LaBelle Winery

There’s something for everyone at LaBelle Winery, a great spot that’s only a short drive away from Exeter. The winery has a full line-up of exciting public events happening this spring, including live music performances, paint and sip workshops, cooking decorating and more. 4. Hampton Beach Summer Concert Series
When: Select evenings beginning May 23, 2026 (nightly performances begin June 24, 2026), 7-9:30 p.m.
Where: Seashell Stage at Hampton Beach, 180 Ocean Blvd, Hampton, NH
Head over to Hampton Beach for summer vibes and live music, starting in May and running through mid-September. 5. Exeter Town-Wide Yard Sale
When: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. (rain or shine)
Where: Across Exeter, NH
The Exeter Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its first-ever Town-Wide Yard Sale, and you’re invited! If you’re looking to sell some home goods, you can register your address for $20 to be featured on an official Yard Sale Maps. If you’re in the mood to treasure hunt, pick up a copy of the map to scout down some hidden gems at bargain prices.

6. Tuesdays on the Terrace Outdoor Summer Concert Series
When: Summer Tuesdays beginning June 16, 2026, 6-7:30 p.m.
Where: Kennebunk Savings Terrace, Strawbery Banke, 14 Hancock St, Portsmouth, NH (rain location: Lawrence J. Yerdon Visitors Center at Strawbery Banke)
Strawbery Banke, an outdoor history museum just down the road in Portsmouth, will host its Tuesdays on the Terrace outdoor summer concert series this year. Enjoy live acoustic and Americana-inspired music (performance schedule available at the link), all while taking in views of the historic houses and gardens. To enjoy yourself most comfortably, it’s recommended to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
