Anyone read the US Constitution lately.- Art 1 Sec 8 states
"The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes...to pay the
debts and provide for... the general welfare of the United States" .
Amendment XIV Sec 4 states "The validity of the public debt of the United
States, authorized by law...shall not be questioned."
Members of Congress take an Oath of Office to uphold the
Constitution. The Radical Republicans, who voted to shut down the Government,
have violated that Oath and deserve to be impeached. Since the House will not
impeach itself, it is up to the voters to throw the bums out!
