Abrami: Goodman Should Get Your Vote for State Senate
Stratham state Rep. says Goodman is a thoughtful man, with the temperament of a senator, who wants to see New Hampshire flourish as a state.

STRATHAM, NH — It is without hesitation that I endorse Bob Goodman for NH Senator in District 23. This is a seat held for many years by Sen. Prescott who is now running for Executive Council. I first met Bob six years ago as I was going door to door when I ran for my first term as state Rep. from the district at the time that encompassed Exeter, Stratham, and North Hampton. I knocked on what for me was a random door in Exeter. Bob answered the door and resulted in a wide-ranging conversation about all things politics and policy. I learned that day how well versed in the issues he was and that he had worked for many Republican campaigns over the years. We have remained in touch ever since that first meeting.
Bob had a 28 year career at Liberty Mutual followed by a combined 17 years of work with a U.S. Congressman and a U.S. Senator, doing political consulting and working as a real estate broker. He ran for a state representative seat in 2012.
I support Bob because he believes as I do that a personal income tax or a sales tax is not what NH citizens want. They want efficient government and low taxes, while still being able to generate enough revenue to give a hand up to those in need. This is exactly what the current tax structure does. He will also fight for more transparency in government including the implementation of departmental performance measures; fight for a reduction in the regulatory burden to help stimulate business growth; and fight to preserve individual liberties. These are all things I support and have voted for over the years.

As a person I find Bob as a thoughtful man, with the temperament of a senator, who wants to see New Hampshire flourish as a state. I know he will give all his energies to continue to see that New Hampshire remains the best state in the union as shown by most measures, including being ranked number one for quality of life every year.
Please vote for Bob in the September 13 Republican primary and then again at the November 8 general election.
