Opiates in Our Community: On the Front Line with Local Professionals
Free panel discussion on Monday, November 16, 2015, 7 PM at the Congregational Church in Exeter.
Exeter, NH: Three local professionals who play integral roles in responding to the ongoing addiction crisis in New Hampshire will share their insights about the particular problem of opiate drugs at a free, public forum at the Exeter Congregational Church in Exeter, UCC 21 Front Street, Exeter. The event is the second of a three part series on addiction presented by We the People and will be held at 7 PM on Monday, November 16, 2015.

Panel members include Chief Richard Kane, Chief of Police in Exeter, Dr. Alexander Asch, family physician at Family Care in Somersworth, and Hon. Tina L. Nadeau, Chief Justice, NH Superior Court. Panelists will present their perspectives on current and emerging legal and medical responses to the epidemic. An open discussion will follow the presentations by the panelists.
The panel is presented by We the People, a free lecture and film series exploring issues at the intersection of current events, ethics and religion. We the People is co-sponsored by the Congregational, Episcopal, and Unitarian Universalist churches of Exeter, in association with Phillips Exeter Academy and Water Street Bookstore. The talk will be held at the Congregational Church, which is handicapped-accessible. On-site parking is available.
