HealthReach Community Education of Exeter Hospital is hosting a free workshop called Having the Conversation: Talking About and Planning Your Wishes For Future Healthcare to help people address these issues.

The first workshop will be held Tuesday April 29 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. while a second workshop is planned for Thursday, May 29 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The workshops will cover the importance and process of advanced care planning.  They will empower attendees to have a conversation with loved ones and healthcare providers about their wishes and decisions for future healthcare. Guests will learn the steps to document their healthcare wishes and decisions using advanced directives.

The classes, which meet at Exeter Hospital, are free of charge but registration is required to reserve your space. For more information or to register please call the Exeter Hospital Information and Referral Center at 580-6668.
