Agnes M. Lindsay Trust Helps Break Down Dental Care Barriers
Org donates $5,000 to Families First will be used at Cross Roads House in Portsmouth and St. Vincent dePaul Society in Exeter.

The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust recently awarded a $5,000 grant to Families First Health & Support Center, according to a press statement.
Grant funds will be used to support the mobile dental services that Families First provides at Cross Roads House in Portsmouth and the St. Vincent dePaul Society in Exeter, and also to assist patients with paying their portions of the fees for dentures and restorative procedures.
“Homeless people face many barriers to getting dental care at private offices and even at community health centers; often, they have no recourse when in pain or unable to chew or be presentable enough to find employment,” said Families First Executive Director Helen Taft. “We are honored to partner with the Trust which promotes the commitment Mrs. Lindsay noted in her will to ‘the relief of suffering.’ ”
